The Valknut is a Norse symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles. The Valknut is inscribed on various different objects from the archeological record of the ancient Nordic people.

It is associated with Odin and symbolizes his ability to lay bonds upon the mind, turning warriors in dire need of help in battle and making them brave and full of fight. They become unstoppable and full of inspiration.

The term Valknut is derived from the modern era and its origins from its historical usage still remain unknown. Pronounced "VAL-knoot", it means "knot of those who died in battle" and was introduced by Norwegians who lived long after the Viking age.
