These terms govern your use of mythologis.com (the "Site") and the digital products sold here. Operator: Yavok LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY, 82801, United States.

By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

The encyclopedia content is free to read. You may quote up to 200 words per article with attribution and a link back, for non-commercial purposes (academic, journalistic, personal). For longer excerpts or commercial use, email [email protected] for permission.

You may not:

  • Scrape the Site at high volume, run automated bots, or crawl in ways that degrade service.
  • Republish entire articles on another site, even with attribution.
  • Train machine learning models on Site content without prior written permission.
  • Misrepresent Site content as your own work.

2. Purchases

When you buy a book (PDF or paperback), you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download, read, and print the book for your own use.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the file. You may print one personal copy. You may not host the PDF on another site.

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe. Sales tax may apply depending on your jurisdiction; you are responsible for any taxes due in your country of residence.

3. Digital delivery

Books are delivered as PDF download links, emailed to the address you provided at checkout, within minutes for published titles and within 90 minutes for preorder titles. See the Digital Delivery page for details.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day full refund for any reason. See the Refund Policy for the request procedure.

5. Newsletter

You can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time. The Subscribe action is your consent under GDPR/CASL. We do not share your email with third parties.

6. Intellectual property

All Site content (articles, illustrations, book covers, layout, design) is © Yavok LLC, except where another credit is given. Trademarks of third parties (publishers, scholars, traditions cited) are the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is," for educational reference purposes. We work hard at accuracy but make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Mythology is a contested field; some interpretations on the Site reflect a specific scholarly position among several. See the Editorial Disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yavok LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or its content. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you paid for products in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page and announced via the newsletter. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
